Approximately 50.6% of the allocated amount has been utilized.

Approximately ₹2.99 crore is yet to be utilized.

Key Findings

The approval rate of the projects is very high.

Special importance has been given to infrastructure development, public health, and the sanitation sector.

Only about half of the allocated funds have been spent. Project implementation needs to be strengthened to utilize the remaining funds in a timely manner.

Completing the projects for which Technical Sanction has not yet been completed quickly will help improve project implementation.

Conclusion

The analysis indicates that the 2021–22 Annual Plan has formulated balanced projects covering various development sectors. Priority has been given to public-oriented sectors such as transportation, sanitation, drinking water, housing development, and health. Although the approval status of the projects is good, the Annual Plan objectives can be achieved more effectively by making financial utilization more efficient and completing the remaining projects in a timely manner.
